Prefabricated Wooden Halls

Prefabricated Wooden Halls

Prima Sport’s prefabricated wooden halls represent a robust and aesthetically pleasing solution for covering sports facilities and other applications. Laminated timber is treated with wood preservatives to ensure protection from mold and preserve the material from wood-eating insects. They consist of two end walls and a central cylindrical body. They have a main framework (arches in laminated spruce wood), a secondary framework (struts in laminated wood), and bench beams where the covering membrane, in single or double cloth, will be anchored. Each arch is composed of two or three sections, assembled on-site using hot-dip galvanized steel plates, rods, and bolts. The covering sheet is generally made of colored polyester fabric, double-coated in PVC, fire-resistant of class 2 Bs2d0, and treated against fungi and mold (Sanitized). The coverings are equipped with sliding openings, easily openable using rails and trolleys.

Single Membrane System

The prefabricated wooden halls single membrane covering system is a simple and functional solution. Prefabricated wooden halls single membrane coverings offer effective protection from weather conditions and are suitable for mild climates.

    Double Membrane System

The prefabricated wooden halls double membrane covering system is the ideal solution for those needing greater thermal insulation. This configuration is particularly recommended for pool coverings or in areas with very harsh winters.

      EcoKit System

In recent years, rising energy costs have highlighted the importance of thermal insulation in constructions, especially those with textile membrane coverings, known for their high heat loss coefficient. Our EcoKit system addresses this need, offering a synthetic mantle covering specially designed for adjacent arch supporting structures.

This system provides superior thermal insulation compared to traditional coverings and is designed for simple and non-invasive installation, even on existing structures. The EcoKit system involves the addition of a second membrane, consisting of strips of fabric fixed between two adjacent arches and attached to them using special aluminum profiles, closed at the ends by two terminal heads. This second membrane is completely separate from the first, creating an air cavity between the two membranes characterized by the total absence of thermal bridges. It ensures effective insulation and energy savings of at least 50% compared to single membrane.

The strips of the second membrane slide inside the profiles, allowing targeted maintenance without the need to remove the entire covering. This innovative design allows for removing and reinstalling strips only in the necessary areas, greatly simplifying maintenance operations.
